Welcome to Mindful Chaos

We savor chaos.  Where there is chaos there is creation and uneasiness.  And this combination creates a powerful surge.  This is when companies and innovative products are born.  But chaos without structure without mindfulness is unproductive, bordering on dangerous – more like a mosh pit than a tango.

Chaos needs a gentle hand to guide it to the higher level of creation. 

An army of ants looks like chaos.  But that army is mindful.  There is not a step by step plan to build the ant hill.  Instead, an ant army is a well orchestrated swarming mob that is guided by a gentle hand. 

Because the hand is gentle, the army is nimble, reacting quickly to obstacles (like me dousing ant hills with water when I was a kid).  And this is an essential characteristic of a start-up or new product, the ability to adapt quickly to outside forces.  And, allow everyone or ant on the team the opportunity to contribute, to think, to act.

Mindful Chaos begets creation and nimbleness.  And creation and nimbleness gives any new company or product the best chance to survive, thrive, and hopefully dominate.
